Judge gets creative and reminds us of our elementary school rules
September 21, 2009
I put together a list of the top rules for elementary school children. I think that if all people followed these rules the world would be a much nicer place to live in:
- Be respectful of yourself and others.
- Listen quietly while others are speaking.
- Be polite, courteous, and respectful at all times.
- No interfering with the teaching and learning of others.
- Keep your hands to yourself.
- Always Do Your Best
- Follow directions of all your teachers.
- Come to class prepared with all supplies and homework complete.

Pratter ruled that attorney Lewis P. Hannah must take a CLE class on “civility and professionalism” and also sit down for a meal with his opponent. Pratter said she was inspired by a quote from Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew”: “And do as adversaries do in law, Strive mightily but eat and drink as friends.” Full Story
